RULES
1. Entry is free, and can be performed by using the form on our home page to predict the score of 12 World Cup group games.
2. Points will be allocated for each game as follows:- If you predict exactly
the correct score then three points will be awarded. If however, you predict
the correct result (i.e. Win / Draw / Lose ) then you will receive one point.
For Example:
| Germany vs England | Actual Result: 1-5 | England win |
| If you predict 1-5 | You gain 3 points | |
| If you predict 2-3 | You gain 1 point for an England win | |
| If you predict a German win, or a draw | You get 0 points. | |
| Wales vs Scotland | Actual Result 1-1 | Draw |
| If you predict 1-1 | You gain 3 points | |
| If you predict 2-2, 0-0, or 3-3 or any other draw | You gain 1 point | |
| If you predict a Wales or Scotland win | You get 0 points. |
3. The most you can score for each match is 3 points. So, the maximum score for the full 12 matches would be 36 points.
4. The scores will be totaled into a league table on 4th June, 9th June and 13th June. This table will be displayed on this site from the 4th June onwards.
5. No entries will be included after 18:00 BST on 31st May 2002.
6. Only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. In the event of multiple entries, the original entry only will stand.
7. The Winner of the replica shirt will be the player with the most points at the end of the 12 matches.
8. In the event of there being a tie, the winner will be decided upon by counting the number of 'exactly correct scores' that each of the 'tied' players have predicted. If there is still a tie, the decision will be given to the player whose total number of England and Republic of Ireland goals is closest to the actual number scored by the two teams during the Group stage.
9. Organisers decisions on all aspects, are final.
